Restylane and Captique Injections Connecticut

Possible Complications

Restylane® and Captique™ are very safe. Restylane is derived from Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluranic Acid (NASHA). There is very limited risk of allergic reaction.

Since Captique™ is derived from bacterial sources, it is important during your consultation to inform Dr. Singer if you have any allergies to bacteria. Captique™ is not recommended for patients with bacterial allergies.

Hyaluronic Acid is found in the human body and is biocompatible with human tissue.

After treatment, redness and swelling may occur but will not last more than a week.

Avoid sunbathing or outdoor activities in the cold until redness or swelling disappear.

Candidates must not be pregnant or breast-feeding, and should be over 18.
