In the rarest of cases, blistering or scarring can occur. Permanent changes to skin pigmentation can also occur. Immediately following your IPL Hair Removal, your skin may appear flush at the treatment site. Coloration may appear darker and you may have some swelling for a day or two. As these effects fade, you will see more smoother, silkier skin. If there is swelling, Dr. Singer recommends staying out of the elements.

Protecting treated skin from UV rays is very important. Dr. Singer will recommend a sunscreen for continual use after treatment.
