Collagen Injections are quick and relatively painless. You can resume normal activities immediately after your treatment, however some temporary swelling or bruising may occur. Some patients will experience minor throbbing or stinging at the treatment area for a few hours after the procedure. Any redness at the injection site will disappear after 24 hours. If the swelling or redness continues for more than a few days, contact the office immediately.

The saline used to deliver the collagen will cause the treatment area to be puffy immediately following the procedure. This puffiness will subside within a few days as your body absorbs the saline fluid.
